Our intro to pottery class that teaches you the basics of using the pottery wheel with no expectations! If you happen to make something you wish to keep, for a small fee we will trim, fire, glaze and re-fire your piece for you.

Not a member but have experience with pottery? We offer 2 hour blocks of studio time during Open Studio on Sundays. To sign up you will have needed to take one of our 6 week courses. If you have taken training elsewhere you will need to attend a studio orientation first.

Intro to Wheel, 6 weeks

Our 6 week Intro to Wheel class takes you from the very beginning all the way through the process of creating functional pottery. Each week we build upon what we learned the previous week. If you have ever been interested in pottery, this is the perfect way to jump right in!

For potters who have been working at their practice and need more. This course will push you to explore new heights! We will look at lidded jars, bottles, as well as larger and more complex pots. Your pottery game will soar to new levels after taking this course!

After School Clay Club

After school clay club runs on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. This club runs from September until early December. Spaces are limited so sign up early to avoid disappointment!

Kids hand-building with clay at a Dirty Hands Club session

For kids

The Dirty Hands Club

Every Sunday from noon to 1 pm, kids get their own weekly clay project, or they can do something else if they want. Our teacher is there to help, and no registration is needed: just drop in.

  • $20 per session. Parents stay with children 5 and under.
  • Plan for at least 2 Dirty Hands days to finish a piece. We hold unfinished work for up to 4 weeks.
  • Sundays until June 14th, back again in September.
